Editable Table - New immerse data type

Immerse is a fantastic dashboard tool. I want it to become the only dashboard that is used. The organizational importance of “one stop shopping” is often undervalued.

To this end. Organizational data (who owns, new target date, etc.) these things change on a regular basis. And these are often the most important dashboards which measure organizational velocity etc.

Feature Request. Create a new “Editable Table” type or add Editable function to the existing table type. I propose a simple toggle [Enter Edit Mode] [Save Changes].

This one feature would change this product’s status from Engineering tool to Management and Engineering tool. And I’m just saying, management owns more purse strings

@davidrubert this is a fascinating idea. Do you have any examples from other products that illustrate what you have in mind?

I don't have a commercial product I can share off the top of my head.  We have an internal custom dashboard that we had made for our VPs.  If you have edit rights there is an edit button at the end of the rows.  When you are done changing data (typically dates, ownership, status)  the button now reads save.  It is row level edibility.  The value is that people who don't understand SQL have a way to update data (which is a lot of people in an organization; most people not in dev).
