How to take backup of OmniSci table

    Hi,

I am using Omnisci 4.5.0 version. I want to upgrade the OmniSci version from 4.5.0 to latest one(4.6.0->4.6.1->4.7.0->4.7.1) but in tables, some billions of records are present. So could you please suggest me that how can I take the tables backup for migration of OmniSci.

    Thanks

    Hi @Ishika [[Unknown]]

Refer the Upgrading OmniSci section in the OmniSci documentation which covers all the different methods (Yum/Apt/Docker/Tar) by which you may have deployed OmniSci. You should first backup the database by copying the contents of $MAPD_STORAGE directory.

I am headed out of town for the 4th of July holidays and my response will be spotty for the next few days.

    Happy 4th!
